“Modeled after President Reagan’s Grace
Commission, we seek to determine how
government can be more productive, efficient
and cost effective while providing quality
service.
The MAP Commission will identify sound
management practices which enhance
accountability and performance to better
serve
South Carolina’s
citizens. Input from state employees who are
on the frontline of providing services and
the public is vital to the success of the
Commission. We seek and welcome any
suggestions and comments.
South Carolina is blessed with remarkable
assets, foremost our people. We can never be
satisfied until we do all we can to make our
State the best it can be. We are committed
to listening and working with the public,
state employees and others throughout our
state to find ways to make it happen.”
